Frequently Asked Questions
Define Asian handicap.
Asian handicap removes the draw by assigning one team a goal handicap. Originating in Asian markets, it tightens odds toward even money and allows refunds (pushes) on specific results.
What is a quarter handicap?
Quarter lines (0.25, 0.75, 1.25, etc.) divide your stake evenly across the two neighbouring whole/half lines. -0.75, for instance, puts half on -0.5 and half on -1.0, allowing a half-win or half-loss.
What occurs on a push?
On whole-number lines, a push happens when the handicap-adjusted score is exactly level, and your full stake is refunded. On quarter lines one half can push while the other wins or loses, producing a partial return.
How are the lines read?
A negative line (e.g. -1.5) requires a win by more than that margin. A positive line (e.g. +1.5) lets the team lose by under that margin and still cover. A zero line (0) is ‘Draw No Bet’ — a draw refunds the stake.
